Cathedral Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8. The program is geared to prepare students for high school in a number of ways. Students move from class to class during an eight-period day and work with different teachers in their core subjects. Students take part in religion class four days a week, weekly mass,  band or music, and have a required number of service hours each year. Teachers work with students to help them organize, study, and manage their class load, all in preparation for the next level. Every middle school student is assigned a Chromebook and uses it throughout their classes.
