Cathedral School runs its own Extended Care programs before and after school.  Extended Care services are available on an “as needed” basis so long as staff receives the proper paperwork indicating emergency and pick-up information.

The morning program is 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and takes place in the gymnasium with faculty supervision.  Families are charged at the current Extended Care rate.  Students arriving after 7:30 but before 7:50 should report to the gymnasium; there is no charge for students arriving after 7:30 a.m.

The after-school program runs from the end of the school day until 5:15 p.m.  This program is divided into a preschool section and an elementary/middle school section.  Both programs consist of organized activities in the classroom as well as in the gymnasium and on the playground.  There are opportunities to work on and get help with homework. 

The rate is $5 an hour, billed in 15 minute increments.  Afternoon Extended Care does not start billing until 3:00 pm. Students who stay past the 5:15 p.m closing time will be billed by the minute. Extended Care payments are due on the 15th of each month for the previous month. Accounts must be in good standing order to continue using Extended Care services.
